Projekt priče o osječkom Donjem gradu ili D.G.O.-u je od početne ideje kratkog vloga iz 2021. godine prerastao u prvu dugometražnu dokumentarnu trilogijju, s preko 360 minuta, ne samo ove četvrti već i grada Osijeka općenito.

Filmovi kroz razgovore s ljudima različitih generacija i pogleda na svijet obrađuju tridesetak tema vezanih uz Donji grad, stvarajući sliku povijesti Osijeka, kako udžbeničke, tako i ulične.

Cilj je educirati gledatelje o povijesti kvarta i grada te sačuvati određene priče, događaje i ljude od zaborava. 

Posebno hvala Domagoju Bubalu na asistenciji, Mateju Florschützu na fotografijama, te svima koji su na bilo koji način sudjelovali u projektu. 

Bilješke o autorima korištene glazbe, video isječaka, o izvorima informacija, fotografija i dr., navedene su u ''završnoj špici'' svakog filma.

 

In 2021, the project of the story of Osijek's Lower Town (or D.G.O.,shortly on croatian ) developed from the initial idea of ​​a short vlog into the first feature-length documentary trilogy, with over 360 minutes, not only about this neighborhood but also the city of Osijek in general.

Through conversations with people of different generations and worldviews, the films address about thirty topics related to Lower Town, creating a picture of the textbook's and street's history of Osijek.

The aim and purpose of these documentaries is to educate viewers about the history of their neighbourhood and city, but also save many events, stories and people from being forgotten.
